After round one the Lindenwood men's golf was tied for eighth place after at the MSSU Invitational shooting a 312 as a team. The Lions shot an identical 312 in round two finishing in a tie for ninth at 624.
Greg MacAulay and
Jake Smock tied for 21st as they each turned in a 77.
Eric Isacsson carded a 78 and
Oscar Isacsson finished round one with an 80.
Greg Phillips shot a 41 on both the front and back nine for an 82.
Dillon Rust from Central Oklahoma and Kris Koelzer from Nebraska-Kearney were tied for first place with a pair of 70's. Central Oklahoma held the lead with a low round of 293 setting them apart from Northeastern State by six strokes.
Four Lindenwood golfers shot a sub-80 in round two. Smock finished in 21st with a 155.
Oscar Isacsson shot a 76 in round two for a total of 156.

Greg MacAulay shot an 85 in the second round.
Central Oklahoma took first place shooting a 590 which was 11 strokes infront of Central Missouri who took second. The Bronchos also had the first place finisher in Trevor Stafford who shot a tournament-low 66 in round two. Stafford carded a 140 for the tournament finishing four strokes better than Trey Seigel of Washburn.
The Lions will return to action in the MIAA Tournament in Smithville, Mo. on Monday.
