The Lindenwood men's golf team finished in a 4
th place tie at the Broncho Invitational in Oklahoma City, Okla. which consisted of all MIAA teams. The Lions tied with Nebraska-Kearney with a three-round total of 929.
Jake Smock and
Ryan Dyck were the highest individual finishers after shooting a total of 229 which placed them in 12
th place.
The hosts, Central Oklahoma, finished in first place with a total of 891 just five strokes ahead of Central Missouri. Northeastern State finished in third place 26 strokes ahead of the Lions and the Lopers.
Lindenwood started the tournament shooting a 304 in round one. But the Lions closed the tournament with scores of 311 and 314 in the last two rounds.
After Smock and Dyck's 12
th place finish, Tyker McKay was the highest Lindenwood finisher at 15
th.
Greg MacAulay shot a 26 over par which was good for 26
th place while
Corbin Adams finished 33
rd and
Garrett Blair placed 54
th.
Lindenwood will be off until April 7
th when the team travels to Arkansa for the First Federal Bank Invitational.
