The Lindenwood men's golf team started off its 2014 fall season with the Missouri Intercollegiate Tournament in Sunrise Beach, Mo. The Lions finished the rain-shortened tournament in a tie for third place. Lindenwood finished behind William Woods and Missouri Southern.

The tournament was scheduled for three rounds but rain on the final day shortened the event to just two rounds. In round one, the Lions shot team total of 301 which placed them in fourth place. Lindenwood improved in the second round by one stoke.

The team total of 601 was five shots behind Missouri Southern and 39 strokes behind William Woods.

Corbin Adams was the Lions highest individual finisher after placing 12
th. Adams shot a 75 in round one and followed that up with a 73.
Ryan Dyck was right behind Adams with a two-round total of 151. Tyer McKay and
Garrett Blair were the next two finishers for the Lions at 20
th and 27
th respectively.

Lindenwood will continue its fall season with the Lincoln Invitational next Monday in Camdenton, Mo.
