Lions Finish Second at Rain-Shortened Lindenwood Invitational

The Lindenwood men's golf team finished in second place out of nine teams at the Lindenwood Invitational in St. Charles. The tournament was shortened to just 36 holes after rain moved into the area on Tuesday morning. 

Lindenwood started the tournament shooting a team score of 291. The Lions then came back in the afternoon and shot two strokes better as a team with a 289. Lindenwood is 13 strokes behind Indian Hills CC who is leading the tournament. The Lions are seven strokes ahead of third-place McKendree.

Ryan Dyck and Garrett Blair shot the low rounds for Lindenwood with 144. Jakob Storts was just one stroke behind the duo with a 145. Corbin Adams was the next lowest score with a 147.

The Lions will be back in action on April 13th at the Washburn Invitational in Topeka, Kan.
