Men’s Golf Ties For Ninth at NCAA Regional

Round Three
The Lindenwood men's golf team finished tied for ninth-place at the NCAA Division II Super-Regional tournament. The Lions finished the three-round tournament with a total team score of 917. Lindenwood was one of the 19 competing teams at the tournament, which was played at The Meadows Country Club in Allendale, Mich. 

Central Missouri finished the tournament in first-place with a team score of 900, besting second-place SE Oklahoma State by one stroke. Lindenwood tied for ninth-place with Washburn, and finished one stroke behind eigth-place Northern Michigan.

Juan Torrente fired a team-low 75 during the final round of play, finishing tied for 25th place. Also tying for 25th place with Torrente was Ryan Dyck. Dyck posted a third-round score of 80, wrapping up the three round event with a total score of 228.
 
Yente Van Doren finished tied for 51st place, following his final round score of 79. 
 
After 54 holes of play, Koke Edo Maeso and Garrett Blair tied for 54th and 75th place, respectively.

Round Two
The Lindenwood men's golf team posted a total team score of 304 during the second round of the NCAA Division II Super-Regional tournament. With a two-round score of 605, the Lions currently sit in 11th place. The Lions are one of the 19 competing teams at the three-round tournament being played at The Meadows Country Club in Allendale, Mich. 

After two rounds of play, Central Missouri has a total team score of 588 and holds a one-stroke lead on second-place Bellarmine. Lindenwood is in sole posession of 11th place, two strokes behind 10th place Northern Michigan.

Dyck shot a second-round 72, tying him for 21st place. Dyck recorded an eagle on the 510-yard ninth hole, the lone eagle of the tournament for Lindenwood.
 
Van Doren is tied for 50th place, following his second round score of 78. Van Doren tallied two birdies on Tuesday.
 
Torrente bested his first round score of 78 by three strokes during round two, landing him tied for 55th place.
 
After 36 holes of play, Edo Maeso and Blair are tied for 59th and 72nd place, respectively.
 
Lindenwood will wrap up play tomorrow morning during the final round of the tournament.

Round One
The Lindenwood men's golf team opened the first round of the NCAA Division II Super-Regional tournament with a total team score of 301, tying for ninth-place. The Lions are one of the 19 competing teams at the three-round tournament being played at The Meadows Country Club in Allendale, Mich.

After 18 holes of play, first-place Tiffin University holds a two-stroke lead on second-place Southeastern Oklahoma. Lindenwood is currently tied for ninth-place with four other teams, Arkansas Tech, Henderson, Washburn, and Southwestern Oklahoma.

Van Doren and Edo Maeso each fired opening-round scores of 74, to tie for 22nd-place.

Dyck, Blair, and Torrente posted scores of 76,77, and 78 to begin the tournament.

The Lions will tee-off in the second-round of the tournament tomorrow morning.
