The Lindenwood men's golf team finished in second place at the Lindenwood Invitational on Tuesday afternoon at the Missouri Bluffs Golf Club.
Yente Van Doren was the team's top-finisher in the event, landing in third place among the 93-golfer field.
Lindenwood had two five-golfer teams in participating in the 16-team tournament. The Lindenwood "A" team finished in second place with scores of 281, 290, and 309 during its three rounds. The Lindenwood "B" team posted scores of 292, 301, and 312 during its three rounds to finish in fifth place.
Central Missouri won the tournament with a three-round score of 861. The Lindenwood "A" team edged third-place, Southeast Oklahoma State by one stroke.

Van Doren earned his sixth top-five finish of the season, and tied for second in the tournament with 12 birdies. Argyros tied for the tournament-lead with 36 pars, while

Colton Wyllie each fired eagles.
Lindenwood will conclude its regular season schedule on April 16-17 at the Broncho Stampede in Edmond, Okla.
