The Lindenwood men's golf team finished the Midwest Regional in 13th place on Tuesday, after shooting a 963 in the three-round tournament.
Adam Bain was the most impressive for the Lions, as he took 23rd place in the 90-golfer tournament at Fox Run in Eureka, Mo. The Lindenwood men's golf team completed day one of the Midwest Regional on Monday at Fox Run in Eureka, Mo.
DAY TWO OVERVIEW
After posting a 332 in round one, Lindenwood completed the second-round on Tuesday with a team score of 316. Bain posted a 75 in the second round, while
John Gardner shot a 78 to improve the overall team score. Gardner registered three birdies on his second-round scorecard, while Bain notched two birdies. Lindenwood had three golfers post scores in the 70's in the final round, including Bain who matched his score of 75.
Joe MacNeil had the only eagle for the Lions, as he scored a two on the par-4 seventh hole.
Caleb Picker played as an individual in the tournament, but tied a team best with a 75 in his third round.
DAY ONE OVERVIEW
MacNeil and
Lucas Allder tied for the team best with an 82 in round one, while Allder tallied two birdies on the front nine.
Robert Dean competed as an individual, and notched an 82 in his first round as well. Gardner shot an 86 in round one, but rebounded with two birdies to start his second round.
Gardner shot just one over on the first nine holes of the second round, ending day one in a tie for 46th. In all, seven of the Lindenwood golfers were separated by just four strokes as Gardner led the way.
