The Lindenwood men's golf team finished in eighth place at the Midwest Regional at Fox Run in Eureka, Mo. The Lions tallied a three-round score of 932, including a 307 in the final round on Tuesday.
OVERVIEW
Jordan Breen had a wild third round, as he posted a 74 with six birdies to finish in a tie for 19th place. Breen had just five birdies in his first two rounds combined to total the fourth-most birdies in the tournament with 11.
Renato Filho tied Breen for the 19th spot, after posting identical scores of 75 in each of his final two rounds.
As a team, the Lions averaged a 3.32 on par-3 holes during the Midwest Regional, which was third best among the 18 teams. Lindenwood ranked fifth among the GLVC schools in attendance, as the Lions bested eight other conference foes.
