The Lindenwood men's golf team shot an 868 at the Bearcat Dual Gender to take third place on Tuesday in Caseyville, Ill.

OVERVIEW
Lindenwood was tied for first place after the opening round, as the Lions shot a score of 285. The Lions compiled 20 birdies in the first round on Monday, as
John Gardner,
Adam Bain, and
Matthew Frith each has five birdies through 18 holes. Bain was in a tie for second place after shooting a 69, while Breen (T6th) and Gardner (T8th) were not far behind. In the second round, Gardner posted an eagle on a 507-yard par-5, which stood as one of his four sub-par holes.Â
Renato Filho, Bain, and Firth also added four birdies on their second-round scorecards.

Filho closed out the three-round tournament on a high note. After shooting even-par for 16-straight holes, Filho finished with a birdie and an eagle to shoot a 69. Firth again posted four birdies, as he led the team with 13 birdies through three rounds. Bain compiled 35 pars and nine birdies, as he tied Gardner for 15th place. Filho ended the tournament in a tie for 13th place to lead the team.
