The Lindenwood men's golf team finished in 10th place at the Flyer Intercollegiate, which concluded on Tuesday in Lemont, Ill.

OVERVIEW
The Lions shot 621 as a team, after posting scores of 305 and 316, respectively. Lindenwood was led by
Adam Bain who competed as an individual. Bain finished in a tie for 16th place, as he shot a 78 in the first round, and fired a 73 in the final round.Â
John Gardner and
Matthew Frith each registered scores of 154, good enough for a tie in 30th place.

Gardner started his first round with three-consecutive birdies, as he closed out the first 18 holes with a total of five birdies. Gardner added four more birdies on Tuesday, as his total of nine was tied for most in the field. Bain posted a team best one-over par in his second round, with a total of four birdies and five bogeys.

Lindenwood was efficient on the par-3 holes, as the average score of 3.28 ranked third among all teams in the tournament. The Lions ranked fifth after 36 holes by compiled 24 birdies. Bain, Gardner, and
Renato Filho were the only Lindenwood players to shoot under par on the par-5 holes.
