The Lindenwood men's golf team wrapped up the Music City Invitational on Monday in Nashville, Tenn. The Lions finished in 11th place as a team, while
Liam Bentein tied for seventh in the tournament with a two day total of 143.
DAY TWO OVERVIEW
Bentein led the Lions on day two, shooting just over par on the course with a 74. He also added two birdies on the day, giving him seven overall in the tournament. The freshmen rounded out his time in Music City, finishing just eight strokes behind the tournament winner.
Adam Bain also shot a 74 on the second day, notching two birdies on the back nine and locking up second place among the Lindenwood golfers. The team shot an even 300 on the day, wrapping up the invitational in 11th place.
DAY ONE OVERVIEW
Bentein led the Lions with a three-under 69, Including a 33 on the front nine, as he is currently tied for third place. The freshman compiled five birdies on day one, as he is within two strokes of the tournament leader.
Jon Gardner and
Robert Dean both shot a three-over 75, good for a tie for 31st . Dean's score included back-to-back birdies on holes eight and nine Gardner compiled four birdies across his round. Bain slotted in just behind them with a four-over 76 on the first day.

The Lions will return home, to host the Lindenwood Invitational on March 22md, beginning at 8:00 a.m. from Missouri Bluffs Golf Club.
