The Lindenwood men's golf team finished in a tie for 12
th place after posting a score of 880 at the Mule Invitational in Warrensburg, Mo.

DAY TWO OVERVIEW
Liam Bentein closed out his second round on Tuesday with a scorecard showing 75. On the final 18 holes of the invitational, Bentein caught fire and shot five-under par. After shooting a 65 in round three, Bentein finished in a tie for 10
th place.

All five Lion golfers posted scores under 80 in both the second and third rounds. The 65 in the third round for Bentein was the best score in the two-day tournament for the Lions. Bentein shot a 213 for the three-round Mule Invitational, while
John Gardner was not far behind with a 219.

DAY ONE OVERVIEW
The Lions posted a 298 in the opening round, which was 12 strokes off the team lead. Bentein led the squad with a 73 in the first round, with the help of two birdies on the front nine.Â
Jordan Breen compiled three birdies which was the most for the Lions in the first round, as he ended the first 18 holes with a score of 74.
Gardner closed out the day on a high note, as he shot one-under par on the first nine holes of the second round. Gardner ended the day in tie for 44th place, while Bentein was tied for 67th place.
