The Lindewood men's golf team (570) concluded the 36-hole Music City Invitational on Tuesday afternoon, placing third among 13 programs at Hermitage Golf Course.
Matthew Frith (68, 71) led the Lions, sharing fifth with four other individuals at -5 over the two-day event.
The freshman posted a career-low 68 in the opening round before capping the tournament with his best mark of the season with a 139.
Great Midwest institutions Tiffin (564) and Trevecca (566) snagged the top-two spots in the team standings, while Lindenwood finished first among five GLVC programs competing. The Lions edged Maryville (571) by a single stroke after shooting even on the final day of action.
