The Lindenwood men's golf team concluded the Derek Dolenc Invitational on Tuesday, finishing in a tie for 9th place.
Liam Bentein recorded another top-10 finish with the help of a one-under 70 in the second round.
OVERVIEW
The Lions carded a 289 as a team in the opening round, third best in the field.
Sil Beyers paced the Lions with a 68, which included three birdies and an eagle on the Par 5 13th hole. Lindenwood compiled three eagles in the tournament, second-most among competing teams.
Lindenwood compiled two more eagles in round two, including Bentein, who holed one on the 225 yard, Par 3 17th.
Matthew Frith finished right behind him, carding a 71, including three birdies and an eagle which came on the Par 5 3rd.
Bentein paced the Lions on the final day with a one-over 72.
Tyler May finished with a 73 on day three, including 14 birdies on the card. The Lions were a combined nine-under on Par 5s for the week, shooting an average of 4.85 on those holes.
