Lindenwood Sports Hall of Fame
The inaugural 1989 football team at Lindenwood was a club team that recorded a perfect 7-0 record. The defense allowed just 33 points on the season and only allowed seven or more points in one game. Offensively, the Lions scored 191 points and averaged nearly 38 points for the final four games of the year. The success of the program led to the football team becoming a varsity program in 1990.
