Kelly Austene-Raines was a two-year letterwinner for the softball team in 1998 and 1999. She helped the Lady Lions win two conference titles and advance to the NAIA World Series in both seasons. The softball team won over 70 games in her two seasons and was ranked in the top-five in the nation. Raines was a two-time first-team all-American and first-team All-HAAC. She was also once named the HAAC and Midwest Region Player of the Year.
