Lindenwood University Athletics

The 2009 Lindenwood shooting team won the sixth straight national championship in program history, dominating the tournament. The Lions hit 1,562 targets, 67 more than runner-up Missouri.
 
Lindenwood swept the top six spots in the men's rankings, led by individual champion Robert Auerbach, who finished with a score of 386. The program also swept the top three spots in the women's individual rankings, led by women's champion Alexandra Chiang with 362 points. Other individual awards included Jon Shockley, who won the overall combined American titles, and Auerbach, who captured the overall international events and the combined skeet titles.
