Lindenwood Sports Hall of Fame
The 2006-07 Lindenwood men's wrestling won the 50th NAIA National Championship with one of the most lopsided victories in NAIA history. The Lions collected 177 points and won the competition by 67 points, the second-largest margin of victory at that time. All 12 Lindenwood wrestlers at nationals earned All-American honors. Four Lindenwood wrestlers reached the championship match, and Jake Dieffenbach and John Salter each won individual NAIA crowns. The Lions finished the season with a perfect 8-0 dual record, and they also won the NAIA National Duals and a NAIA Regional Championship.
Head coach of Lindenwood was Joe Parisi.
