Lindenwood Sports Hall of Fame
Steve Crotz was the women’s basketball coach at Lindenwood from 1990-1996. In those six seasons, he compiled a record of 127-61, won five conference championships, five conference tournament titles, and advanced to three NAIA Division I National Tournaments.
In his first season, Crotz helped Lindenwood set several first in program history for most wins, first conference tournament title, and first NAIA district tournament appearance. In his final four seasons, the Lady Lions won over 20 games each year, including 24 in 1993-94. That season, Lindenwood made its first appearance at the NAIA National Championship Tournament, a feat repeated the next two seasons.
